HunterCreek Farms is a 90 acre facility conveniently located on the highway between Lubbock, TX and Ruidoso, NM. We are a year round mare care facility, and offer breeding services including AI and shipped semen. Our specialty is foaling out mares, with 25 years experience, and if needed, 3 vets within 10 minutes of our facility, 24 hours a day.
At HunterCreek Farms, we are dedicated to breeding, developing, and preparing exceptional Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse athletes for the racetrack, with a focus on proven bloodlines, careful horsemanship, and individualized care. We strive to produce horses that embody speed, stamina, and soundness.
We feed a specially formulated grain by Hi Pro Feeds, specifically formulated just for us. It is from several months of taking hay, water, and grass samples from our place to formulate the perfect ration for the needs of pregnant and lactating mares. Our program blends tradition with innovation, emphasizing both the time-honored qualities of the Thoroughbred and the distinctive speed and versatility of the American Quarter Horse.
From breeding to foaling, to sales prep, each step of our operation is guided by integrity, passion, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring that each horse has the foundation to succeed at the highest levels of competition.
